Prokinetic Technology, Inc
I'm currently working for Prokinetic Technology, an Internet consulting & development company.
For the most part, I'm usually buried in ASP.NET, C# or SQL code, though I occasionally do some graphics or design work. Some of the sites I've worked on are Sony Financial Services,
The Auto Pages, DataIntel and GTI Spindle.
I also wrote Bug Factor, our web-based bug tracking product.
OneMediaPlace
I did a short three-month contract with this now-defunct company in San Francisco. They did online
sales of advertising, both internet and standard print/radio/TV. Most of the work I did was with their
advertising negotiation process as well as several intranet tools. Here's a screenshot
of one of the reporting tools I worked on.
Rates.com
One of the early casualties of the .com crash. We had written a great dynamic site building tool and online mortgage application.
Unfortunately we ran out of funding only a couple weeks before we were going to launch the site. Here's a pic of an early version of our
dynamic site builder. This was our home page that was never launched, done up
quite nicely by one of our web designers. Here I am with my A-10 Shrine cubicle.
Terradatum
This is where I really dove head-first into web development. We did a lot of real-estate web sites, both
public listing sites as well as MLS systems. Some of the sites I worked on are RE Infolink, East Bay Regional Data,
Bakersfield MLS. I also did a lot of work in porting
legacy MLS data over to SQL Server databases.
East Bay Regional Data MLS
Pretty much my first real job after high school. I spent five and a half years at EBRD, first starting out doing data entry, soon
moving up to tech support and eventually quite a bit of programming as a "Product Support Programmer". This is where
I got my feet wet with SQL server by porting our flat-file MLS data over to SQL Server using Foxpro.
